Super nice location, romantic and colorful. The staff is super nice and the food is super fresh and delicious. It’s not overloaded with cheese but all food components fit to each other.

Wow! This is without a doubt the best sushi in Playa . When we travel here from Bogota this is where we eat the best sushi ! It’s different at Sushi Garden because the owner Thomas , uses fresh salmon that is not frozen like other restaurants . We just tell him how many rolls to make and let him work his magic ! Incredible ! Get away from fifth Avenue and go to 15th Avenue for the best sushi in town ! Thanks Thomas for the wonderful service !!

5.0 stars.. really? I was a little skeptical, but I had to try it and lemme tell ya, I’m glad I did! They certainly deserve that 5 star rating! Right off the bat, the feel of this place was sort of like an underground tiki bar. Gravel flooring matches perfectly with the natural feel they’re going for. Even though it’s very causal, when they set and clean the tables, they are attentive to details! I watched as they carefully placed all the plates, napkins and chopsticks with patience. I noticed how careful they were even with that. For the food, probably some of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had! Make SURE to ask for spicy mayo - this is NOT typical spicy mayo that’s squeezed from a tube. I watched the chef mix a few things by hand before bringing it over to us. So this was made-by-hand spicy mayo and it was delicious! Every bite of both the rolls and the sauce we dipped the rolls in was better than the last. If you’re skeptical of coming here, don’t be, go experience good rolls, sushi, service and watch them get made right in front of you by the same person that takes your order. This place is absolutely deserving of your business and they appreciate everyone. You can tell by their humble demeanor that they are kind and sincere people that enjoy serving their customers. I will certainly be back! Also.. one of the negative reviews mentions the 6% credit card fee - yes it’s true but it’s very very fair. The sushi here is INCREDIBLY well priced that the 6% fee is a joke. Not a big deal at all. I paid 26 usd for 4 rolls and a drink! That’s unheard of! So yes, please charge me that 6% as the owners of this place shouldn’t have to carry that burden with prices this reasonable! Lastly, no they do NOT add gratuity automatically! It is a suggestion and it’s up to you to press the percentage you want to apply.

what an amazing hidden gem this place is! probably the best sushis I've ever had, especially the Mexican one with guacamole wow! Tomas (owner/chef/waiter) was so kind and helpful. The ambiance is great and the music is so smooth and relaxing! Highly recommend

Wow!! Came in for a quick bite and really enjoyed our experience! The restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is such a vibe! The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The sushi was great! So fresh and reasonably priced. Really had a great time here and would definitely go back!

Tomas was such a kind soul. The food was 10/10. Best sushi I’ve ever had. Truly a hidden gem; that’s the first word that came to mind when we sat down. The music & ambiance was on point. Wishing success!

This is my favorite place to eat sushi in Playa. The quality is a good value and I feel that I am at the beachside in Mexico eating good casual sushi when I eat here. Chefs kiss to the person who created this fusion vibe. You get good sushi here in a vibe that perfectly matches the beachy Mexico Caribbean location. *We come here regularly for dinnertime appetizers from the combo board menu and then we travel on to our main meal elsewhere. What a great place to grab casual sushi!

The best place to eat sushi in Playa del Carmen. I’ve been in playa for quite a while and this is the first time a sushi place had that “wow” effect on me. Congratulations to the chef! Everything is fresh and tasted amazing. The place is a bit dark for my tasting but it worked out. Good service and great music. Our water was nice and recommended a few plates. I will come back for more!
